PAUL TSAKIRIS, President, Managing Broker
Founded First Western Properties, Inc. in 1999. As President, Mr. Tsakiris' major vision was to develop Chicago's poor neighborhoods. Since starting his company Mr. Tsakiris has rehabbed over 1,000 decimated apartment units resulting in three Good Neighbor Awards; an award given to projects that have the greatest positive impact on a community. In 2006, Mr. Tsakiris was awarded the gold award for Multi-family Sales by the Chicago Association of Realtors. In November 2008, he was awarded the gold award for Retail Leasing by the Chicago Association of Realtors. He has also won numerous other sales awards for number of closed transactions and total dollar amounts. Prior to founding First Western Properties, Mr. Tsakiris worked as a Sales Associate with Hallmark and Johnson. He graduated with a Master's degree from Thunderbird, The Garvin School of International Business (U.S. News #1 ranked international business school).
FAHIM LAKHANI, Senior Investment Analyst, Client Acquisitions
Fahim works on a wide range of commercial transactions including retail sales, multi-family sales, tenant representation for retail leasing, landlord representation for retail leasing and industrial sales. He was recently awarded the silver award for Rookie of the Year by the Chicago Association of Realtors. Mr. Lakhani's exceptional analytical skills and work ethic allow him to consistently close deals and ensure that his clients receive the best possible price. Prior to joining First Western in December 2006, Mr. Lakhani worked as an Investment Analyst in fixed income investments at Prudential Capital Group. Prior to Prudential, Mr. Lakhani worked as a Global Operations Intern at Citadel Investment Group LLC. He first joined First Western Properties in 2003, as a Finance Intern, while attending the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Mr. Lakhani graduated from the University of Illinois with a BS degree in Finance and a BS degree in Accountancy.
CHARMAINE BAUTISTA - Office Manager
Charmaine is responsible for the management of First Western's retail, multi-family, and vacant land portfolio. She was formerly a sales agent with RE/MAX Signature and a graduate from DePaul University with a bachelor's degree in Business Management.
EDDIE LEE - Intern
Eddie is responsible for accounting and finance activities at First Western. He also assists in creating marketing strategies for all commercial listings. Eddie’s prior experience includes a management internship at Doctor Shirley Wong’s office. He is currently a junior at the University of Illinois @ Urbana-Champaign studying International Business and Real Estate Finance. While at U of I, he has led several mock accounting and finance business projects. His hobbies include playing basketball, canoeing, and attending baseball games.
JOHN TSIAOUSIS - Property Manager, Leasing Agent, Appraiser
John Tsiaousis has over 10 years of Property Management, Leasing and Appraisal experience. He has significant work experience in the valuation of multi-family and mixed-use properties. Having the benefit of being an experienced investor, Mr. Tsiaousis understands the need for a quality analysis completed in a timely manner. Mr. Tsiaousis has worked primarily in private practice settings and is an expert in the valuation, leasing, and management of properties. As a life long resident of the Chicagoland area, Mr. Tsiaousis has a good understanding of its communities.
KAMAL LUKOVAC-Tenant Representation and Mortgage Broker
Responsible for Leasing, Tenant Representation, and Mortgage Broker. Kamal is also a Former Olympic water polo player.
DON BRZOZOWSKI - Real Estate Agent
Commercial as well as residential broker. Specializes on South and West Sides and Suburbs.
